Designing The Dream

My new course, Designing the Dream, is aimed at women therapists who are either starting out or who may be feeling a bit overwhelmed and stuck. For those not sure quite where to start or what to do. Maybe you can relate to this?

Two Years of My Life

I’ve spent the last two years thinking, learning, writing, planning, and eventually recording and creating Designing the Dream.

My business course for therapists is based on 20 years working for myself as a therapist, and other business experience.

It seemed like a great idea all those months ago! How hard could it be? Ha! The thing is I didn’t know what I didn’t know! I’ve been supported on the way by my husband (Thank you Jim) Chose a course development expert, Glen Long, to mentor me and, latterly, had support from social media experts too. I realised I couldn’t do it alone.

At times I’ve felt like giving up. At times I’ve felt frustrated that I wasn’t going fast enough. At times I’ve felt excited. And when we finally uploaded everything to my website www.annemorrisoncoaching.com - relieved!

The new journey has just begun!

But that isn’t the end of the journey. The next phase is starting that of getting it out there so it can serve its purpose of helping therapists feel more confident. Help other therapists to create their own thriving therapy practice.

Designing the Dream - Business Course for Therapists

Designing the Dream takes you from where you are now to you creating an actionable blueprint for your business. Along the way you’ll learn things about yourself and your business.

We start with the here and now, dig into your business and life finances. Then, visualise your future.

Define your Why, your ideal clients, your fees and finances.

Then we consider what marketing might suit you best and how you measure what’s working or not.

I’ve included some management tools which might help you manage and structure your business activities and there are templates for many things including planning your marketing and your time.

Designing the Dream Course Structure

The course is assignment based and the modules and sections have videos, handouts and assignments. Each module builds on the last, till in Module five you create your action plan for your business. I’ve also included guided visualisations to help change happen.
